Dr. Rangaraj
is a board-certified Physiatrist and Interventional Pain Management Physician. She was born and raised in India. She graduated from Stanley Medical College in Chennai, India in 2004. She went on to complete a residency in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at William Beaumont Hospital in Michigan, followed by a Fellowship in Interventional Pain in Georgia.
She is certified by both American Board of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and American Board of Pain Medicine, and is a member of the American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. She has extensive experience in treating degenerative conditions of the spine, multiple arthritic conditions, cancer pain and other chronic pain disorders. Dr. Rangaraj
practices medicine with compassion and believes every patient needs an individualized treatment plan. She also encourages a multimodal approach to treatment of pain and works with an objective to increase function, maximize quality of life, and minimize the need for chronic opioid use. She specializes in minimally invasive techniques like joint injections, epidural steroid injections, radiofrequency ablations and neuromodulation.
